Condx weren’t as good this month as they were in August, but there were still plenty of EU signals to work. My antenna is hardly a good one for DXing, so the EU ops are to be commended for being able to pull me out of the mud! Tks for another fun challenge!

My FT817 and the Hy end fed antenna on 40/30m did their job. After 4 days I was missing the 6 and 7 and the V. It’s fun to make qrp.
Outside the challenge in the sac contest last night I worked 5 stations with 1w no problem.
Tnx for all

I thought I wasn’t going to make it this month. After I got everything but two 8s and one 6 by the 15th of the month, first the 8s eluded me till I worked HA8JV on 40 meters on the 21st, then European stations with a 6 in their call went into hiding. I heard many stations with all other numbers in their calls, but not a 6. Finally with time running out, I found DJ6ZM on 15 meters on the 27th and worked him with a single call to finally finish the challenge. I guess this month’s challenge was more rewarding because it didn’t come as easily as most of them do. Thanks to all the European stations I worked to master the challenge. Now I can rest a couple days and get ready for both October NAQCC challenges.
