Thought I was going to strike out on this one. For most of February I couldn’t find an R or a 9. Of course in my 324 QSOs in the ARRL DX Test I worked a lot of them, but none outside the test until RL3A showed up in my log on February 21. I had been looking out for HA9RT to give me both the R and 9, as he is very active, but I couldn’t find him nor any Croatian stations nor anyone else with a 9 in their call. However just a little while ago on February 23, I did find HA9RT on 30 meters and worked him easily to complete the challenge, and CHALLENGE it was this month, but I mastered it finally. Thanks again for giving me something to work for this month that did indeed take some work to do. Another great EU Chapter Challenge, Matt and Ton.
This was a challenge for amateurs who make very few QSO’s… That is, very few no contest QSO’s, see comment above 😉

All the stations on 30m except PA0WGL and PI4OSS on 80m. Gerrit was testing his Pixie 2 homebrew . Nice signal with 479 here. A lot of other calls on that place but nice to work him with the clubcall. With the contest calls I can make a lot of this challenges but not allowed thats ok. Tnx all. TRX still FT817 and the hy end fed ant. output sometimes 0,5 Watt. On 80m Pixie and hy end fed 300mW.
